Gabapentin 300mg+ Methylcobalamin 500mcg Tablet is used in the treatment of continuous and intermittent neuropathic pain that may be felt as tingling, prickling, stabbing, or burning pain. The drug formulation contains two medicines: Gabapentin and Methylcobalamin. Gabapentin is an anticonvulsant and an alpha 2 delta ligand that functions by decreasing pain through the modulation of the calcium channel activity of the nerve cells. Methylcobalamin is a cobalamin (a form of vitamin B) that is a helping agent It helps in the production of myelin that protects nerve fibers as well as strengthens damaged nerve cells.
