Diclofenac+Serratiopeptidase is a combination medicine used to provide relief from pain. The medication belongs to a class of combination medications called NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) used to relieve pain and inflammation in conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It can also be used to relieve muscle pain, tooth pain during dental surgery, menstrual period pain/cramps, ear pain, and migraine headaches. Diclofenac works by blocking the effect of a chemical messenger, known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes that make other chemical prostaglandins, responsible for causing pain, swelling, and fever. Serratiopeptidase acts as a mucolytic and anti-inflammatory agent thereby decreasing swelling at the painful site. 

Take the medicine as per the prescribed dosage and duration and complete the course of the medicine. Do not crush, chew or break the tablet. Swallow the whole tablet with water. The most common side effects noticed on using Diclofenac+Serratiopeptidase tablets are nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, headache, indigestion, and diarrhea. Inform the doctor if you are allergic to Diclofenac or Serratiopeptidase, or similar medicines. Store the medicines in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight.

• antacid (magnesium hydroxide)
• anti-fungal (ketoconazole, miconazole, fluconazole, voriconazole)
• anti-arrhythmic (amiodarone)
• anti-gout (sulfinpyrazone)
• anti-emetic (metoclopramide, domperidone)
• bile acid sequestrant (cholestyramine)
• anti-cancer (imatinib)
• antibiotic (chloramphenicol)
• anti-progestational steroid (mifepristone)
• anti-diabetics
• diuretics
• anti-hypertensives medicines

Interaction with Disease: 

• stomach ulcer or perforation
• bleeding problems
• bypass surgery
• heart attack
• blood circulation problems

• kidney or liver problems

Precautions and Warnings 

1. Avoid consuming alcohol as it may cause increased dizziness. It can also increase the risk of unpleasant health effects.
